All of this came out of a classroom.

Suhuai Chen grew up in China, took a degree in Computer Science and Linguistics at Northwestern University, and teaches Chinese in Brazil today. Every HanFlow tool started as something a lesson needed and nothing provided.

Learning a language is hard work, and the tools rarely keep up. The material is generic, the dictionary answers without explaining, and the teacher spends hours assembling by hand what software should assemble. None of that was solvable before. It is now, and that is where HanFlow comes from.

HanFlow is an AI-powered educational technology company, founded in 2026 in São Paulo. Today that means, for students, the HanLexa dictionary, HanVocab flashcards and HanName; for teachers, the HanLexa Class extension, LessonPage, and HanFlow OS, the teaching platform we are building. We start with Chinese, the language we know best and the hardest one to get right.
